They’re both the subject of programs being held this weekend at Seven Ponds Nature Center. Help ready the woodland wildflower area for the array of blooms that will be coming our way this Friday (4/10) at 1 PM and fulfill Master Gardener Hours at the same time by taking part in Woodland Wildflower Workday. Look for the many examples of six species of salamanders that reside in the rich woods of Jonathan Woods in Salamander Foray on Saturday (4/11) at 10 AM and Sunday (4/12) at 2 PM. Learn about their natural history and conservation. Meet at the center and carpool to the site. Each session is limited to 12. You must pre-register by calling 810-796-3200. The fee for this program is $3.00 per adult, $1.00 per child. Members are free. For more information, sevenponds.org.
