Alice Tips His Hat to Dwight Fry – Today’s Spooky Vault Track
Today's creepy 'weenie track belongs to none other than Alice Cooper, from what many fans thought was his first album in 1971, Love it to Death. It was actually his third, the first two sucking so bad they were simply ignored, and are seldom even mentioned. He came through in a big way though, and the Love it to Death album continues to be a fan fave even today. On it is a homage to horror film star Dwight Frye, who mostly played the Igor type lab assistant in the old Universal black & white horror gems. Alice dropped the "E" from the last name to avoid any legal issues. Where's Daddy? On the Vault! Out of town? Listen live on-line.
