I've wanted to do radio since I was a little kid. I joined the staff at 105-FM WWCK in 1977 and stayed until we were all fired in 1988. I then joined Cars 108 WCRZ for ONE NIGHT in 1989. Please don't remind J. Patrick of this. I've worked at various stations ever since, currently afternoons on US1031 WQUS. I also do photography. Check it out on jeffholbrook.com.

Getting In Focus – Today’s Vinyl Vault
The old Dutch act Focus is on today's show with their only US hit Hocus Pocus, from 1971. Thought of as a progressive rock band, these guys with unpronounceable names were more interested in classical themed music. This track was a fluke, and one they don't mind at all...

One of REO Speedwagon’s Nine Lives – Today’s Vault
Kevin Cronin stand aside - its the bass player that handles the vocals on today's REO gem. Bruce Hall's Back on the Road Again got a lot of rock radio attention from an album that nearly stiffed, 1979's Nine Lives, the last REO album that featured mostly a hard rock sound before the band went milky ...

‘Join Together’ on Today’s Vinyl Vault – The Who
Today's track Join Together is a rarely heard single by The Who that was issued between the Who's Next and Quadrophenia albums to appease the fans. I remember Relay was another one, out about the same time. Townshend had some very high quality leftovers that we benefited by, very similar to the feel of Who's Next...
