Not only are the beer wars continuing with who's got lighter beer when it comes to calories but now add to the mix organic.
According to Ad Age, the Anheuser Busch InBev-owned brew is introducing an even lighter line extension this week called Ultra Pure Gold. It has 85 calories,10 less than regular Ultra, and will be marketed as containing "organic grains."
Also new on the shelf is Corona Premier, which checks in at 90 calories, compared with 148 calories for Corona Extra and 99 calories for Corona Light.

Low calories beers seem to becoming more popular with some marketers referring to them as fitness beers. A lot of the advertising has the product being pushed to health-conscious consumers. Amstel have also come up with a new low-cal beer.

It's interesting to note that Bud Light and Coors Light are losing sales but their calorie content isn't that much higher then the new brews.
