Body Cam Captures Woman’s Rescue From Icy Michigan Water [VIDEO]

Monday was a scary day for Korisa Miller. She and a friend were fishing from a dock at Beacon Cove Marina in Harrison Township when she slipped off the dock and fell into the icy water.

Two men who were fishing from another dock, along with a deputy from the Macomb County Sheriff's Department were able to rescue Miller from the icy water. The rescue was recorded on the deputy's body camera.

"I could not thank them enough," Miller tells WJBK. "We did not think that anything like this could happen. We weren't on the ice. We were on the dock. It was a freak accident."

Miller was in the icy cold water for about 15 minutes. She was taken to an area hospital after the incident.
