If you love sweet corn like I do make plans to be at the Davison Farmers Market this Saturday (9/9) for the 3rd Annual Corn-Fest.
The best sweet corn is grown in Michigan and this is your chance to get it fresh right from neighborhood farms. Make sure to try Sweet Corn on a Stick.
From 9 until noon kids will have the chance to experience what it's like to drive a tractor with the Genesee County Farm Bureau’s Agricultural Simulator. Speaking of tractors the Genesee County Antique Tractor Club will have a collection on display.
Children and adults can take part in the “Sweet Corn Shucking Contest” that happens at noon. For kids only free activities & games including Corn Toss, Corn Bag Race, Bobbing for Corn and Cornie Bucket Race.
The Davison Farmers Market is located just off I-69, at the corner of Irish Road and East Court Street.
