Fisherman Drowns In Lake Fenton [VIDEO]

More information is now available after a body was found in Lake Fenton yesterday.

Reports indicate 73-year-old Elmer David Metras was found face down in the water shortly after 2:00 p.m. Apparently he had called his wife to say he was heading in (to land) due to windy conditions. A witness told police Metras was attempting to dock his boat and seemed distressed. Let me to tell you, docking is not easy especially when it is windy. Authorities believe he may have suffered a health issue, causing him to fall into the water. Our thoughts are certainly with his family and friends.
