Michigan’s Passenger Pigeon Gone Forever

On Saturday (10/3) at 10 AM the Lapeer District Library will present ‘Michigan’s Passenger Pigeon: Gone Forever’ at the Marguerite de Angeli Library in Lapeer. A lecture and visual presentation following the timeline of events in Michigan leading to the bird's extinction will be given by Al & David Eicher. Specimens from the Cranbrook Institute of Science, a story, artwork and sounds of nature as it was in the middle 1800s will be featured. Call the library at 810-664-6971 to register for this program.
