If you were up and around this morning at 6:20, you may have heard me play Ritchie Havens' version of 'Here Comes The Sun' in honor of the arrival of spring yesterday. Richard Pierce 'Ritchie' Havens was best known for his soulful covers and intense rhythmic guitar style. He opened Woodstock in 1969. Watch a live performance of the tune from 1971.
