How Will Lapeer Vote On Pot?

There are 12 cities in Michigan with pro-marijuana initiatives on the November 4th ballot. This initiative in Lapeer include decriminalization within the city, allowing persons 21 or older to possess less than one ounce of cannabis on private property. How are you going to vote?

Marijuana will still remain illegal to possess under state and federal law even if this initiative passes, so technically it will be up to local law enforcement as to whether it is enforced.
