Humble Pie Rocks The Fillmore – Live ‘n’ Loud on Today’s Vault!
Humble Pie's live album Performance: Rockin' The Fillmore was a turning point for the band, in more ways than one. It was the first time they got serious recognition here in the States and it was their last album with soon to be superstar Peter Frampton. Word had it he could no longer stand working with Steve Marriott, although the two remained good friends until Marriott's death in 1991. It's a time capsule for sure, and a loud one! I Don't Need No Doctor comes with a high octane warning, 5:20pm. Out of town? Listen live on-line.
Steve Marriott, left.
