When Will Long John Silvers in Flint Twp Reopen After 2022 Fire?
After a devastating fire that destroyed the Long John Silver's building on Linden Road in Flint Township, it appears the restaurant will be reopening soon.
After the fire in February of 2022 destroyed the building, most people thought that was the end of Long John Silver's in Genesee County. Fortunately for seafood lovers, that's just not the case.
Earlier this year, we told you that there were once again signs of life on the vacant lot as construction had begun. At first, it wasn't clear if it was a new fast-food joint that was being built or if Long John Silver's was rebuilding. Thankfully it was the latter.
When Will Long John Silver's in Flint Township Reopen?
We don't know exactly when Long John Silver's will reopen but we do know it's going to be very soon.
I called up there today and talked with an employee who said they'd be reopening in the first week of October, which is next week. He also suggested that I call back next week to find out for sure when they'd officially be reopening. So, it sounds like their not even sure yet.
The Last Remaining Long John Silver's in Genesee County
After it reopens, it will once again be the last remaining Long John Silver's in Genesee County. If you remember, Long John Silver's on Pierson Road in Mount Morris Township was also destroyed by a fire back in 2019.
