Lapeer Car Cruise Rolls On Tonight

You'll hear the rumble of finely-tuned engines on Nepessing Street tonight and every Monday night this summer as the Lapeer Car Cruise returns to downtown Lapeer. The cruise runs May 9 to September 12 from 6 PM - 9 PM except Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. There'll be music by Youngs Entertainment, Monday night specials at downtown businesses and a 50/50 raffle with proceeds donated to local charities. "Everyone is welcome" said DDA Director James Alt."This is a cruise for car lovers, fans and enthusiasts." Nepessing Street will be closed to traffic between Court and Mason Streets during cruise hours.
