Kyle Kuzma is the latest Flint baller to win an NBA Championship, but Lebron James thinks that Kuzma still has a lot of room to improve.

Going into the 2020 season nobody was sure that Kyle Kuzma would even be on the Lakers roster. He had been in the middle of off season trade talks as the Lakers rebuilt, and it felt like the talks continued through the entire season. When the NBA restarted in the bubble, Kuzma became a key piece to the Lakers moving their way to a championship.

Fast forward to now when the Lakers are trying to do everything they can to repeat as champs. They resigned both Lebron and AD, and added to their team through trades and free agency.  When the dust settled, Kuzma was still in LA, and still a part of the Lakers future.

Hoop Central hit Twitter with a question for their followers, asking which young player would have a breakout season this year. Lebron doubled down on the fact that LA kept Kuzma on the team.

With a simple two word tweet, the basketball world knew that James has plans to keep Kuzma in LA.

There are those doubters that think James is just trying to prop Kuzma up to increase his trade value, but that theory doesn't hold a lot of weight. With all of the moves that the Lakers made in the off season, they could have easily dealt Kuzma. Plus his value to the Lakers increased during the playoffs as Kuzma showed that he could step it up on defense.

I'm not a betting man, but I'll go out on a limb and say that when the Lakers get their second championship in a row this year, Kuzma will be getting another ring with them.
