
Man in Serious Condition after Motorcycle Crash in Lapeer County
A man is in serious condition after a motorcycle crash in Lapeer County.
MLive says the accident happened last Thursday around 10 p.m. Lapeer County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a call involving a motorcycle on Brown City Road near Dorrow Road in Imlay Township. Police say 35-year-old Michael Gough of Deckerville was driving a 2000 Honda motorcycle when he failed to navigate a curve causing him to leave the roadway and hit a number of objects. Gough - who was not wearing a helmet - and the motorcycle rolled before coming to rest in a nearby cornfield. He was treated at the scene and transported to a hospital. Authorities believe alcohol and excessive speed were factors in the crash which remains under investigation.
