The Detroit News reports that the game between the New York Giants and the Minnesota Vikings will be played at Ford Field due to the roof collapsing at the Metro Dome find out more after the jump.

Ford Field will host a Monday night football game between the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings after the Metrodome's inflatable roof collapsed under the weight of snow.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7:20 p.m.

Admission to the game is free, but fans will still need a ticket. Free tickets will be available at the Ford Field box office starting at 9 a.m. Monday.

Ford Field gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Fans that had tickets to Sunday's Packers-Lions game will be able to get into Monday's game free of charge with their ticket stub.  Ford Field also will admit ticket holders to the originally scheduled Giants-Vikings game in Minneapolis, and those fans will receive preferred seating at Ford Field.
