Attorney General Bill Schuette has issued a media advisory on his investigation into the Flint water crisis. The investigation is looking into what, if any, Michigan laws were violated in the process that resulted in the contamination crisis currently forcing Flint residents to rely on bottled water.

(From the AG press release). Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette announced on Friday, January 15, 2016 that he will investigate the water crisis currently affecting the City of Flint. The purpose of the investigation is to determine what, if any, Michigan laws were violated in the process that resulted in the contamination crisis currently forcing Flint residents to rely on bottled water for drinking, cooking and bathing as they fear for their health.
