I'm so excited that certain events are returning this summer. Besides concerts, the main thing I miss is all of the beer and art festivals. They're always a great time spent with good people.

If you're trying to live your best life this summer and hit up a couple different beer festivals, you've come to the right place.

Here's a list of some of the beer festivals surrounding the Lansing area.

World Expo of Beer

The expo is happening in Frankenmuth on May 21 and 22.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event will be broken down into two different sessions each day.

You have a choice of 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 21., and the same options on Sunday, May 22. The tickets are $50 for three hours and include and souvenir mug, and six sampling tickets.

There are limited tickets, so if you're interested, I'd buy your tickets now on World Expo of Beer's website.

St. Clair Beer, Wine, Cocktail & Seltzer Festival

The outdoor festival will be held rain or shine on June 5 in Algonac from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. If you're wondering what it'll include, well, it's in the title.

More than 40 Michigan breweries and wineries will be supplying beer, wine, cocktails and seltzers. Music, games and food will also be included.

The general tasting ticket is $40 and allows you to enter at 7 p.m., and includes 10 samples, a pint glass and keepsake photo. They currently have a buy five get one free special.

Those with a VIP ticket are allowed to enter the festival at 6 p.m. VIP tickets are $55 and include 15 samples, and also include a pint glass and keep sake photo. You can buy three get one free on their website right now.

Ella Sharp Museum Art, Beer & Wine Festival

The festival will be held at the Ella Sharp Museum on August 7 in Jackson from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Due to limited capacity, the tickets will not go on sale until mid-June. You can keep an eye on tickets by visiting their website.
