New Mexico Jail Holds Lapeer Man After Being Kicked Off Amtrak
The Sante Fe County Jail in New Mexico was holding a man from Lapeer after he was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct, assault, and resisting and evading an officer.
David Houghtaling, 41, of Lapeer was put off an Amtrak train in Lamy, NM, after he reportedly became intoxicated and then "loud, abusive and argumentative with other passengers," on the train.
He was met by deputies and arrested when he continued being out of control. He is being detained on a $3,500 bond.
