Pepsi Bringing Back Pepsi Blue After 20 Years

I might've just missed this carbonated drink, as I was only about three years old when the drink first made it's way to the shelves. But, if you're not as young as I am, I might've just unlocked a forgotten memory.

Remember the Pepsi Blue? It debuted itself in 2002 and was a berry-flavored pop, which hasn't been seen in nearly 20 years now. But, 20 years is long enough, and we're going to see the beverage return to shelves on Monday, May 3rd, according to MLive.

“For years, passionate Pepsi Blue fans have been clamoring for the return of their beloved berry cola,” the Pepsi company said.

The advertisements for the Blue Pepsi included the hit song "Blue Da Ba Dee." You definitely remember that song. In some moments it is a song you jam to, in others, an unwanted earworm.

The company is planning on bringing back the bottle in a new and redesigned packaging for the summertime. While supplies last, you can find and buy the Pepsi Blue in both 20-ounce bottles as well as in the six-packs.

And if this excites the early 2000's you, you're not alone. Ton's of people took to Twitter, exclaiming their excitement to see the old beverage return. As a non-soda drinker, I might have to give it a try.
