Rock Stars Remember Buddy Holly.
A new all-star tribute album, "Rave On Buddy Holly," has been compiled to commemorate the late Buddy Holly's 75th birthday. Among the 19 artists providing their interpretations of Buddy's legendary work are Paul McCartney, who covered "It's So Easy," Kid Rock, who reworked "Well... All Right," Lou Reed, who took on "Peggy Sue," and Graham Nash, who tackled "Raining in My Heart." June 28th is the release date.
Buddy was born "Charles Hardin Holley".
