The Day the Music Died [VIDEO]

One of the saddest moments in rock and roll history happened this week in 1959. It was on February 3rd that a plane with Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens crashed after leaving the airport in Mason City, Iowa. The three were reported dead at the scene. Bad weather was reported as the cause for plane to go down shortly after take off.
