If you have a few favorites at Taco Bell you better make your "run for the boarder" before they're gone for good. As hard as it is to say, and trust me my stomach is having withdrawals already, some of the best in late night snacks are saying adiós.

According to their website, the fast food eatery is making menu changes that will include saying goodbye to 11 items in a move to simplify their menu.  Following other fast food franchises, Taco Bell has taken a new approach to how they conduct business since the COVID-19 outbreak.

In their statement the company says,"This evolved menu approach comes after months of analyzing the new way we are running our restaurants. We want to ensure an easy and fast ordering experience for our guests and team members, while simultaneously opening up opportunities for even more innovation." The statement goes on to say, "Since the start of COVID, we’ve made changes at the restaurant level with the safety of our Team Members and guests as our top priority, but we didn’t just stop there. Our new normal has also transformed the way we look at innovation and product testing at our global headquarters.

Taco Bell will say goodbye to the following:

Tacos

  • Grilled Steak Soft Taco

Burritos

  • 7-Layer Burrito

Specialties

  • Nachos Supreme

Cravings Value

  • Beefy Fritos Burrito®
  • Spicy Tostada
  • Triple Layer Nachos
  • Spicy Potato Soft Taco

Snacks

  • Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes
  • Loaded Grillers (Cheesy Potato, Beefy Nacho)

While they will omit the selections, Taco Bell said they will  also be adding two new items. New will be the $5 Grande Nachos Box (which layers beef, refried beans, cheese sauce, three-cheese blend, pico de gallo, guacamole and reduced-fat sour cream on top of a bed of tortilla chips), which comes with a medium drink and is returning for a limited time. Also added will be a $1 Beef Burrito that will become a permanent addition to the Cravings Value Menu.

The change will kick-in on August 13th, so if you are craving that Nacho Supreme you may want to get your fill now.
