One of rock and rolls great ones was born today on June 18,1942 in Liverpool, England. On Paul’s birth certificate it reads James Paul McCartney son of Jim and Mary. Paul got his love of music from his father who played the piano and trumpet and had a group of his own in the 1920’s called Jim Mac’s Jazz Band.
