Halloween Costumes

With Halloween just a few weeks away and our obsession with dressed-up animals still going strong, we have been led into the most wonderful of all Tumblr lands with our latest discovery.

Carter has spina bifida, a birth defect which affects the spinal canal. Because of his condition, the youngster uses a wheelchair. Being stuck in a chair is obviously going to be tough on a kid. However, last Halloween Carter's dad used his son's wheels to their advantage in crafting a pretty awesome costume.

There's a decided trend this year toward homemade costumes for Halloween.
