Imlay City and Lapeer have been placed in select company this summer by being chosen as sites for the DIA "Inside Out" program this. This incredible and unique participation will heighten the affection for the arts in both communities.

Vlasic Foods will remain in Imlay City. Pinnacle foods plans to upgrade and expand, add seasonal and full time jobs to the pickle plant. The good news from the New Jersey-based Pinnacle Foods followed weeks of speculation and uncertainty for local Vlasic workers and management, whose jobs appeared to be in jeopardy because of corporate plans to consolidate operations.
