Lunar Eclipse

Mid-Michigan will get a front-row seat to a rare total lunar eclipse on March 3, 2026. The “worm moon” will turn a deep red during the early morning hours, creating a stunning blood moon effect.

Don't just stuff those eclipse glasses in a drawer! Here's how you can spread some science to kids on the other side of the world from right here in Mid-Michigan.

It was a beautiful sight last night as the moon underwent a stunning transportation in the night sky.

And I'm sure they are at Stonehenge today.  Well, if you are local here in mid Michigan, chances are you didn't see any eclipse last night.  Not only was the peak at 3:17AM, but it was so overcast you could hardly see anything.
