A group of wackos activists are in Lansing today protesting Nestle's bid to double their Michigan water withdrawal, but they may be missing the point.

Another phase of pipe replacement is in the works for the city of Flint. Crews can replace the city pipes, but when it comes to residential side (pipes from curb to home) of things - homeowners/residents have to give permission.

President Obama visited the Flint Food Bank on Wednesday where he drank from a glass of filtered Flint water.

The activists and celebrities flocked to Flint this weekend to speak about the water crisis.

Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette officially announced this morning that he will be investigating the Flint Water Crisis to see if any laws were broken.

Governor Snyder ordered the Michigan National Guard to Flint last Tuesday night, to assist with delivery of bottled water, and water filters.

Despite proven health risks, and rate hike issues, a judge gave Flint the go-ahead to resume water shut offs for delinquent customers.

Reports are coming out concerning the current water crisis in Flint, that show officials did not follow federal guidelines when switching over to the Flint River.

Governor Snyder just announced that Flint residents will be receiving water from Detroit, beginning in the summer of 2016.

There have been many questions concerning the effectiveness of the water filters that have been handed out in Flint to deal with the high lead levels.

According to the plan to fix the water problems in Flint, as laid out by the state, the Flint River will remain as the primary water source.
