Texting Could Curb Drinking
Text messaging can help young people cut down on drinking, according to a small new study. Fifteen heavy drinking young adults who sent and received weekly texts tracking their consumption of alcohol were drinking less at the end of the 12-week study. The findings are on the website of the "Journal of Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research."
