The Pistons Won’t Have Any Players In The 2017 NBA All Star Game
No matter how closely you look during the 2017 NBA All Star game, you won't find any players wearing a Detroit Pistons jersey.
This is far from the first time that the Pistons have failed to have a representative in the all star game. Andre Drummond broke a five year drought in 2016, and it looked like he and Reggie would be making a return trip this year. Unfortunately, Detroit has not posted any of the necessary stats to get a player in the game.
Stan VanGundy was not surprised by the lack of Pistons, he even predicted it.
I think there are a lot of guys in this league deserving, but where we’re sitting right now at 21-25, I would be very surprised if we had anybody in the All-Star Game
The Pistons are one of 12 teams that won't have anyone playing in the All Star game. Let's just hope that this doesn't begin another streak of no all stars like the five year stretch that was just broken.
