This Location Is the Highest You Can Get in Michigan

Everyone knows that Michigan is a legal state when it comes to marijuana, but when you live in a state as beautiful as Michigan, do you even need it? To test this theory, take a ride to Mount Arvon in Michigan's Huron Mountain Range, located just up north in Baraga County. Past The Peak of The Mitten

According to Around Michigan, you don't need a dispensary to be the highest person in Michigan. You just need directions to Mount Arvon. This Baraga County tourist spot now has the highest elevation in the state at 1,979 feet.

This was not always the case. Up until 1982, Mount Curwood held the record for being designated as Michigan's highest elevation. But modern technology used in the resurvey in 1982 determined that Mount Curwood was 1 foot shorter than Mount Arvon, making it Michigan's new Tallest Peak.

You Can't Get Higher Than This in Michigan

So, if you still feel the need to stop into your closest dispensary to get high, that's fine, everyone over 21 years of age in Michigan has that right. But if you want a true Michigan high, head up to Baraga County in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and climb, hike, or drive your way to Michigan's highest point at the top of Mount Arvon.

According to TallSome, the minimum height requirement to be an official mountain is 2,000 feet. This leaves Mount Arvon just 21 ft. shy of being official. But, if you're daring enough, you could always climb 21 ft. up one of the trees at the top.
