Tigers Head to All-Star Break with Win!
Tiger hitters produced just enough offense to help Justin Verlander pick up his 12th win of the year. The final score: Tigers 2, KC Royals 1. Verlander threw 119 pitches in 7 2/3 innings for the win vaulting Detroit into first place in the AL Central. Hopefully the Tigers can stay on the winning side of things after the All-Star break.
