University of Michigan Basketball’s First Big Ten Title In 28 Years

Wolverine fans are smiling today. Last night the University of Michigan beat Illinois 84-53. The victory gave the Wolverines the regular-season BigTenTitle, the first time they have won the conference outright since the 1985-86 season. Nik Stauskas had 24 points and Michigan shot 70 percent (16-of-23) from three point land, that ties the team record for most made three-point field goals in a single game.

The Wolverines close out the regular season against Indiana this Saturday at home.
