Little did the world know that The Beatles would do their last public performance today in 1969 and it wasn't in a concert hall. The band came up with the wacky idea of doing a set of tunes live on top of Apple Corp. Building in London.
They would play for about 40 minutes and then the police showed up to shut them down.
