What Is ‘Chandeliering?’ [VIDEO]
Yes, it's miserably cold outside right now. I can't stand it when I'm chilly, let alone freezing my butt off! But there are some things involving ice that even winter-loathers like myself can appreciate!
A Minnesota woman caught an ice-shattering spectacle known to some as "chandeliering" on camera. Chandeliering happens when the ice on top of a lake starts to melt, breaks into shards, and accumulates on shore.
It basically looks and sounds like broken glass being pushed into a big pile. Pretty cool if you ask me!
