Anti Drugs Steppenwolf – Today’s Vinyl Vault

John Kay and Steppenwolf take it easy on today's Vinyl Vault feature with a big ballad they did in 1970 called Snowblind Friend.  It's a  cover of a Hoyt Axton tune that was part of their anti drug stance that seemed so out of place for this act.   It also proved the band could expand their horizons beyond heavy metal thunder, with much effect.  C'mon by at 5:20pm.  Out of town?  Listen live on-line.
