This sounds like things could get interesting in the future here in the state of Michigan when it comes to drinking adult beverages and your driveway.

According to a report from WNEM, The Michigan Supreme Court passed a ruling about drunk driving in home driveways. The court says, since a driveway is "generally accessible to motor vehicles," under state law it's unlawful to be drunk behind the wheel.
The case involves a man in Northville in 2014 who was three times over the legal limit for blood alcohol level. When police arrived at the man's house he was driving his car in and out of his garage and disturbing the neighbors.
