Nicklas Lidstrom lifted the Detroit Red Wings to a 5-2 win over the St. Louis Blues with his first career hat-trick last night at Joe Louis Arena.  The Wings captain scored once in the first period then twice in the third on a power play and into an empty net to get his first three goal game.  Nicklas Kronwall and Dan Cleary also lit the lamp for Detroit.  Jimmy Howard stopped 19 of the 21 shots he faced.  The Red Wings return to action on Friday night, when they travel to Chicago to take on division and Original Six rival Blackhawks.
