Victorious Red Wings Ready For Home Opener Tonight

Congratulations to the Detroit Red Wings getting their first victory of the season last night beating the Columbus Blue Jackets in a shootout 4-3. Called up from Grand Rapids, Brian Lashoff scored in his NHL debut after driving in from Grand Rapids and arriving at the rink at 6:30 last night and less then hour later he was on the ice. The winning goal for the Red Wings was scored by Damien Brunner.
