It’s time for the local one of kind entertainment event of year. The 66th annual “Kiwanis Kapers” variety show, performed by the Kiwanis Club of Lapeer, shows tonight (5/1) at 7 pm and Friday and Saturday (5/2, 5/3) at 8 pm. All three productions take place at the Lapeer East High School auditorium.

The Kiwanis Kapers show "Peace, Love, Kiwanis" (60's theme) is a variety show aimed at raising money for the social club’s charity work and children’s programs around the county. Kiwanis Club members and children will both perform throughout the evening, with musical numbers, dance routines and a long list of comedy sketches. The Kiwanis Club of Lapeer spends around $40,000 a year on children’s programs and projects annually.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from any member or at the following member locations: McComb Monument, Lapeer Gold & Diamond, Kapala Heating & Air Conditioning and at the door.
