Jon Bon Jovi is getting into the restaurant business in the Garden State.  "The Asbury Park Press" reports that Jon's nonprofit organization is developing an eatery in Red Bank, New Jersey called Soul Kitchen.  But don't expect the typical celebrity trappings like high-priced martinis and velvet ropes.  Described as a "community restaurant," volunteers will run Soul Kitchen.  There won't be prices or menus at the destination, where patrons can either pay what they can or volunteer to cover the price of their meals.  Volunteers can also donate their own meal credits to others.  The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation has filed plans to convert an auto shop in Red Bank into the restaurant.

A representative from the foundation says if the business model works at Soul Kitchen, the organization plans to replicate it elsewhere.  The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation was founded in 2006.  The foundation aims to bring about positive changes and to help those in need.  Way to go Jon.  You definitely got Soul.
