Watch Judas Priest Play ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?’
Everyone knows you can’t believe everything you read on Wikipedia. Thankfully, the guys from Judas Priest have taken the time to clear things up by responding to some of the information on their page with what frontman Rob Halford promises is “the honesty of metal.”
It all went down in the latest edition of Loudwire‘s ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?‘ series, which found Halford sitting down between guitarists Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner to weigh in on everything from whether their listed full names are correct to whether it’s actually true that one of Halford’s early jobs was acting as the manager for a particular type of movie theater.
The trio also discuss the story of how Tipton ended up being added to the Priest lineup, whether or not the group was really banned from Madison Square Garden after some overzealous fans went wild and caused thousands of dollars’ worth of damage to the arena, and what it was like for Halford to briefly pinch-hit as the vocalist for Black Sabbath. Check it all out in the above video, and keep an ear out for Judas Priest’s new album, ‘Redeemer of Souls,’ arriving in stores on July 8 — you can hear the first single, ‘March of the Damned,’ right here.
