Letting It Bleed – Today’s Vinyl Vault

Decca Records

The Rolling Stones in 1969 weren’t about too many jokes and laughs.  The album that year was called ‘Let It Bleed’ and it’s first track was Gimme Shelter.  A sign of the times maybe?  Shortly after its release came the Altamont tragedy.  Yep, if you can’t get what you want… well, I guess there were some lighter moments on the record.  Remember Monkey Man?  It’s today’s track around 5:20pm.  Swing on by, either on US1031 or live on-line.
