A Lapeer Count judge is being shown no mercy from the Michigan Supreme Court.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Michigan's highest court won't intervene and reinstate Lapeer County Judge Byron Konschuh while he is facing embezzlement charges. The court turned down the request from Konschuh who is getting paid while suspended. He was charged in July with embezzling $4,000 while serving as the county prosecutor to pay for office meals and snacks. Konschuh denies the charges.

What do you think? Should Konschuh be allowed to stay a judge while facing charges?
