Late KISS Drummer Eric Carr’s Heirs File Lawsuit Against Band for ‘Untold Payments’

November 24, 1991 was an incredibly sad day for the rock world. Not only was it the day Queen legend Freddie Mercury died, but the day KISS drummer Eric Carr passed away, as well. Well over 20 years after Carr's death, the drummer's heirs have filed a lawsuit against KISS for "untold payments" stretching back all the way to Carr's passing.

Lapeer County Bank and Trust Hosts First 2014 Shred Day

Got a box full of papers and documents etc. that need to be destroyed, take them into Lapeer County Bank & Trust Company and their first Free Community Shred Day of 2014 on Saturday, March 15. A Cintas shredding truck will be on site at the Main Office of LCBT on Nepessing Street from 9 a.m.-noon for people to drop off their shredding.

‘Frost Law’ Restrictions Coming Soon In Lapeer County

The term "frost law" refers to the amount of frost that is remaining in the ground. With the warming of the ground as spring approaches, it can cause the pavement to heave and buckle, thus creating potholes and drops that can have a  damaging effect on wheels and vehicles. To help reduce the damage to the roadway, counties enforce axle weights reductions depending on the road surface.

Hell and Heaven Festival Featuring Guns N’ Roses and Kiss Reportedly Canceled

Update - The organizers of the festival have stated on Facebook that they will reveal a new location for the event shortly:
Good morning!
Soon will announce all the necessary info about the Hell & Heaven Fest official follows on foot and confirmed we are 15 and 16 March, the location is next to announce. (Translation by Bing)
 

Breaking news out of Mexico. The Hell and Heaven Metal Fest, which was scheduled for this coming weekend and to be headlined by Kiss and Guns N' Roses, has reportedly been canceled due to safety concerns. However, the organizers of the festival haven't given up the fight.
