Paul McCartney has become the latest star to greet astronauts on the final Nasa shuttle mission.

Paul spoke to the crew of shuttle Atlantis on Friday (7/15/11) after a snippet of the Fab Four's track Good Day Sunshine was piped into the spacecraft.  He told the astronauts, "Good morning guys! Wake up! And good luck on this, your last mission. Well done!"

Paul McCartney's "On The Run" tour gets under way as he makes his Yankee Stadium debut tonight. Paul is expected to perform about three hours of music this evening -- including his solo work, as well as songs from Wings and The Beatles.  Tonight's show is the first of two performances at Yankee Stadium.  He plays the stadium Saturday night, too. Paul's next stop is at Commerica Park in Detroit Sunday July 24th.
