Red Wings Take 3 Zip Lead in Series

It took staying up till midnight to witness it, but the Detroit Red Wings took a 3 to zip lead in their first round playoff series with Phoenix last night.  The final score … Red Wings 4, Coyotes 2.  Detroit got goals from Ruslan Salei, Johan Franzen, Valtteri Filppula and Drew Miller.  With the current rumor of the Coyotes being moved back to Winnipeg Manitoba, the Red Wings jumped out to a quick 2 goal lead and never looked back.  The Wings and Coyotes wait until Wednesday to resume their series.  GO WINGS!
