Ric Ocasek of The Cars is celebrating his 66th. birthday today. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he would move to Cleveland with his parents. It's in Ohio where 16 year old Ric meets up with Benjamin Orr and the seed would be planted that would flower with a move to Boston and The Cars would blossom.

They started the '80s on a relatively low note, but then hit their stride after hooking up with Mutt Lange.
