Light My Fire from the Doors first album got so much attention (and still does today) that the other tracks from the set seem forgotten.  Enter: the Vinyl Vault!  I love getting into the deeper things like The Crystal Ship, a love song said Morrison, who was reportedly inspired for the title by an oil rig just off the coast that looked crystal when lit up at night...

The song 'L.A. Woman', is my favorite Doors' tune. Check out this new video, released in conjunction with the 40th anniversary edition of the album of the same name. 'L.A. Woman' was the last Doors' album before the death of Jim Morrison.

The new Doors song is marking its official premiere.  "She Smells So Nice," from the upcoming release "L.A. Woman 40th Anniversary Edition," will have its debut on The Doors' Facebook page today at noon Eastern.

Jim Morrison's legacy lives on 40 years after his death.  The Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek and guitarist Robby Krieger were at the Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris over the weekend visiting the grave of the late frontman.
