32 Years Ago, Thin Lizzy’s Phil Lynott Dies From Drug Abuse

He was part of a rock group that inspired many young dudes around the world to form a rock band. Phil Lynott  was the singer and bass player for Thin Lizzy and helped lead them to success.
His life was cut short this week in 1986, when he died at 34. Phil was the victim of drug abuse that caused his kidneys, liver and heart to fail from blood poisoning and multiple internal abscesses.
